Day 7 – 600m climb towards Nangkar Tshang

Another acclimatisation day and a bit of a lie in till 7am. Not feeling good but Imodium may be having a small effect which allows me to get to the next loo stop – but still bad stomach cramps and dashing for the loo.

Up a zig-zag path for 400m+ – quite hard at this altitude, take some steps and then rest. I am doing quite well, I think, drinking lots (more than 5 litres of liquid), not walking too fast (I can still hold a conversation while walking) and plenty of rests.

Saw a Lamagar eagle – marvellous sight but impossible to take a good photo of.

Hard day but I did it and after 4 or so hours back at camp and resting / sleeping. Not hungry but must keep drinking.
